Has smelled of "forest floor" for more than 1 month - it was never stale and it was never mucilaginous - I add a small or large amount of kitchen waste every week, but every week he gets more and more crushed, so luckily he keeps eating the "waste" All in all, I love it! This bacterial process is genius! Really never any smell, even though I put rhodes cabbage that's been maturing in a jar for 1 week 😃

I was first impressed by the smell of ceramics. I have fed the first pot three times in small portions. I have no complaints, in fact, this first week has already started the process. I prefer to sort out the composting process every 2-3 days.

Feel free to experiment, I love to follow the composting process, the look and feel of my compost (smell, texture, colours ...), experimenting what I can put in it, how big it is best cut, etc. The amount of kitchen waste has decreased and I plan my weekly menu much more in advance since having COMPOT. People living in my household are also more much more aware of what is waste and what is not compostable.

My boyfriend hated that I always collected compost in boxes until we went to a composter in the countryside. Sometimes it got really stinky. Then I bought a COMPOT, which she loves, she is keen to look after it!

It really works and is easier than keeping track of what a worm can eat and how much. I've really reduced my waste, and I didn't have much before (I used to throw out a bag a week, now I throw out a bag a month)
